Supporting United Barcode Systems (UBS)’ APLINK production line printer is new to the labeling solutions that Loftware offers its customers. The APLINK LCX Series is a new-generation High-Resolution Inkjet System, specifically designed and developed to code on porous, secondary cases. This new solution allows users to design messages, codes, and complex barcode label templates for printing on the production line with oil-based inks for porous surfaces and with UVLED inks for non-porous surfaces.
“Many companies still rely on standalone Human Machine Interface (HMI) terminals to support their marking and coding process, as stated by Paul Vogt, Loftware VP Channel & Alliance Strategy and Programs.” This reliance on an approach that is becoming outdated, costs more than many manufacturers realize and often results in time-consuming processes and inconsistencies.
Users of Spectrum or NiceLabel can include UBS APLINK printers in their integrated printing process and manage all printers through one unified platform. This support announcement is in addition to the “5,000+ printer models across 100+ printer brands” that Loftware already supports. These labeling solutions enable organizations to digitally transform their entire labeling process, from design and printing to label management. The result is a leaner, more agile operation that enables businesses to respond more quickly to changing market conditions and requirements, and gets products to market faster to compete more effectively in the global market.
